If you are blocked, unbalanced, and burnt out, this is part two on chakras and why your chakras might be sabotaging your life. Welcome to another episode of Supercharge Your Soul’s Transformation Podcast. I am your host, Demplevindra, a spiritual coach that helps you heal your trauma and get unstuck using yogic, meditation, and self-love techniques.
Today we are going to talk about how to heal our chakras and really understand the health implications or illnesses connected to them, including diagnoses you might have received from your doctor. By the end of this episode, you are going to heal your chakras.
Today’s episode also dives into a topic that might be holding you back in ways you did not even realize. If your chakras are blocked or out of balance, could they be the hidden cause of your stress, burnout, or emotional struggles? We are going to explore the science and spirituality behind these seven powerful energy centers and uncover how their imbalances could manifest as fear, insecurity, lack of confidence, or even physical health issues. But don’t worry, we’re not just identifying the problem—by the end, you’ll have actionable steps and tips to start clearing those blocks and restoring balance.
If you haven’t checked out my previous episode, I recommend you check out the beginner’s episode on chakras, which is Beginners Chakra Introduction 101. I’ll link it below in my show notes for reference. We’re going to talk about the seven chakras, their colors, functions, the signs linked to them, and the associated health conditions and behaviors.
Let’s go. The first is the root chakra, or the mullahara chakra. Its color is red, and the function is stability, survival, and security. It is associated with your adrenal glands and fight-or-flight response. The health conditions or behaviors connected to this chakra are chronic fatigue, lower back pain, constipation, feelings of insecurity, financial anxiety, fearfulness, or a lack of grounding.
The second is the sacral chakra, or waistan chakra, located near the reproductive organs. The color is orange, and its function is creativity, pleasure, and relationships. It’s correlated with reproductive organs and hormones such as dopamine and serotonin. The associated health conditions and behaviors are sexual dysfunction, menstrual issues, infertility, emotional instability, creative blocks, or overindulgence in pleasure-seeking activities.
The third is the solar plexus chakra, or Manipura chakra. The color is yellow, and its function relates to confidence, willpower, and personal identity. It is linked to the digestive system and the gut-brain axis. It’s connected to digestive issues, ulcers, IBS, low self-esteem, lack of motivation, excessive control, or inability to set boundaries.
Fourth is the heart chakra, or Anahata chakra. Its color is green, and it is connected to love, compassion, and connection. It is related to the thymus gland, immunity, and the heart. The health conditions associated with it are heart diseases, respiratory issues, feelings of loneliness, difficulty forgiving, jealousy, or excessive people-pleasing tendencies.
Fifth is the throat chakra, or visudi chakra. The color is blue, and it’s connected to communication and self-expression, associated with the thyroid gland, metabolism, and speech. Imbalances may result in sore throat, thyroid dysfunction, fear of speaking up, or over-talking without listening.
The sixth is the third-eye chakra, or Ajana chakra. The color is indigo, and its function is intuition, insight, and clarity. It’s connected to the pineal gland, circadian rhythms, and imagination. Health conditions include headaches, insomnia, eye strain, difficulty focusing, lack of intuition, or being overly critical or analytical.
Finally, the crown chakra, or Saharara chakra. The color is violet or white and it’s associated with spirituality, connection to the universe, and enlightenment. It’s linked to heightened brain activity during meditation or transcendental states. Health conditions include migraines, depression, spiritual disconnection, aimlessness, obsessive materialism, or rigid beliefs.
To heal and balance your chakras, you need to integrate physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual practices. For the root chakra, grounding exercises like walking barefoot on grass, consuming root vegetables such as carrots and beets, and affirmations like “I am safe, secure, and grounded” help. Yoga poses like mountain, warrior, or tree pose and red crystals like garnet or hematite are also beneficial.
Meditate with the mantra “LAM.” For the sacral chakra, creative activities, hydration, and orange foods like oranges and carrots are helpful. Affirmations like “I allow myself to feel pleasure and joy,” yoga poses such as the goddess or butterfly pose, and orange crystals like carnelian, combined with the mantra “VAM,” aid healing.
For the solar plexus chakra, practices to build confidence, foods like lemons and turmeric tea, affirmations such as “I am powerful, confident, and capable,” yellow citrine crystals, and the mantra “RAM” work wonders. For the heart chakra, acts of kindness and forgiveness, green foods like spinach, affirmations like “I give and receive love freely,” yoga poses like camel or bridge pose, jade or rose quartz crystals, and the mantra “YUM” are essential.
For the throat chakra, journaling, vocal exercises, blue foods like blueberries, affirmations like “I express myself truthfully and clearly,” yoga poses such as shoulder stand or fish pose, lapis lazuli crystals, and the mantra “HAM” can be transformative.
For the third-eye chakra, visualization, mindfulness, indigo foods like blackberries, affirmations such as “I trust my intuition and inner wisdom,” yoga poses like dolphin or child pose, amethyst crystals, and the mantra “OM” are effective. For the crown chakra, meditation, prayer, fasting, detoxifying foods like ginger and garlic, affirmations like “I am connected to the universe and my higher self,” yoga poses like lotus or headstand (with guidance), violet or clear crystals, and the mantra “AH” help balance and heal.
General practices like meditation, pranayama, sound therapy, energy healing, daily gratitude, and consistency are crucial. Healing chakras is a journey, not a quick fix. Regular practice creates harmony across physical, emotional, and spiritual layers. If you enjoyed this podcast, share it with a friend, subscribe, and leave a review on iTunes.
