Do you know what is the secret to increasing joy and happiness? Well, in today’s meditation, that’s what you’re going to learn. So simply sit down or maybe close your eyes, and remember, please do not listen to this podcast meditation while driving. You will learn the guided secret meditation to increase your joy and happiness. Close your eyes and just make sure that your spine is in a neutral position. So keep your spine as tall as you can.

Let’s take a deep inhale in through the nose and then exhale all the way out. Relax all the muscles of your face. Once again, focus on the inhalation and exhalation, notice the breath going into your body, and then notice the breath leaving your body. Now, notice your abdomen expanding on the inhalation and contracting on the exhalation. Relax your fingers, relax your shoulders, relax your spine, and relax all the muscles of your face.

Now move your attention from your breath, bring your attention to the center part of your head—not the top of the head, but about two inches below the crown of the head, more in the center. Another way to explain this is to bring your attention to the area in between your ears and just hold on to that awareness. I will call this area your meditation sanctuary. This is the area in your brain where we are going to tap into to work on our healing. Scientifically, this area is called the hypothalamus. So just stay there, ask your mind to take your attention to your hypothalamus, and hold on to that awareness.

When you’re here, I want you to create a beautiful space in your head. Imagine and bring into your imagination your favorite vacation spot or a place that you would really like to travel to. I want you to bring that picture, the imagery, and design your meditation sanctuary to that spot. Let that place be somewhere close to nature—maybe in the trees, on top of a mountain, at a beach, or in the woods. Wherever you are, just stay there, keep your 100% attention in the middle part of your brain while you hold on to this image.

As you hold on to this image, be here by yourself. This is your own sacred healing space that you created today. You will use this space in the future. And as you are here in this space, I want you to imagine a beautiful golden light entering from the sky and then touching the crown of your head. From your head, this beautiful golden light covers your entire face, your neck, your shoulders, your arms, and travels down to your upper torso, your lower back, your stomach, and keep this light at your lower back. Notice if you sense anything as you hold on to this imagination of this golden light.

Let this light now travel into your legs, both your legs, your knees, your calves, and your feet. With your imagination and intention, imagine this light getting very strong on your right foot. Just speak to it and tell it to get stronger, and notice what happens in your right foot. Keep your attention in the middle part of your head while you do this work.

Now let this light travel deep into Mother Earth from your body. It travels down towards the ground, passing through stones, insects, water, grass, sand—wherever you are—and going about 2 to 3 to 4 layers towards the crust, the core of Mother Earth. Let this golden light keep traveling further down, about 100 feet deep. It’s washing away any aches and pains that you have in your body.

Now bring your attention to the center part of your chest, your heart space, right in the middle of your breastbone. I want you to bring on memories or any one memory, which was your most favorite. What was the best moment of your life? Whatever comes to mind first, use that memory, and I want you to relive that memory and notice what happens to your body. Run these scenarios in your mind—who was with you? What had happened? What year was it? How did you feel? Just like you amplified the golden light, I want you to amplify this feeling and imagine this feeling traveling to all the parts of your body. Let it travel to your head region and from the center of your chest towards your feet.

Now bring on a second memory that you absolutely loved and enjoyed. Relive that day again and notice the feelings that you’re feeling in your body. Tell those feelings to get stronger and expand those feelings to all the parts of your body, including your legs.

Now, we’re going to bring on one more memory. So go ahead, bring another memory to your mind and relive it again from start to finish. Whatever you’re feeling in your body, expand that feeling to all the parts of your body.

Now, I want you to imagine that the feelings you got from these memories are represented by the color green—that is the color of our heart center. Imagine this green color traveling from the sky, going directly into your heart. From the heart, it expands to all parts of your body—towards the head region, down your neck and shoulders, into your hands, and then down towards your belly, your lower back, your legs, and your feet. You can even repeat mentally, “I am healing.” Be mindful of the sensations you’re feeling. Visualize that your pain and inflammation are just leaving, and the color that you no longer need is gray. So imagine particles of gray leaving your body, exiting through your foot, and as it leaves, it penetrates deep into the surface of the earth because Mother Earth will neutralize this feeling.

Now, slowly bring your attention to your breath and then inhale. Take a deep breath in and exhale. Do this two more times: inhale, take a deep breath in, and exhale. And one more time, inhale again and exhale. Whenever you’re ready, gently move your fingers and then take your time to open your eyes very gently.
