Dimple Bindra

Have you ever had a dream so big it felt impossible, but you couldn’t stop thinking about it? For me, that dream was to become a keynote speaker. I’d just turned 40 and thought, “One day, I’ll step on stage and share my story with the world.”

And it happened right after my birthday!

But here’s the thing: dreams don’t just happen. They require clarity, belief, and action. And today, I’m sharing how I turned that dream into reality—because manifestation works.

When I was a kid, I used to stammer as if there were stones stuck in my throat. My aunt from India hated calling our landline in Abu Dhabi, because she felt every time I picked up the phone to say “HHHHHHHEEEELLLLLLLOOOO” her phone bill increased to millions of rupees.

So what did my folks do?

They simply asked me to stop answering the phone as our relatives were complaining.

How did that made me feel?

Horrible… as I couldn’t talk on the phone or otherwise!

And I was so used to people rollin their eyes each time I tried to finish my 3 worded long statement..and never returning back to my presence.

I hated the fact that I was laughed at for not being able to talk.

So as a kid, I started to get out of of this uncomfortable feeling by staring at Video Jockeys on MTV and imagining like I am one of them.

I started fantasizing like I am some famous celebrity, holding an empty coke bottle, as if its a mic and imagining so many people are cheering for me.

I started thinking, one day, people will listen to me.

One day I will be a SPEAKER!

I believed it in every BONE of my body.

Now looking back, life gave me a lot of chances to at least BE on stages… that was definitely a starting point.

Sometimes I was called to perform Arabic dance at our school’s annual days, and other times, I was the one pumping up the crowd as a fitness and yoga instructor. Movement and talking always seemed to go hand in hand for me.

For me even when I was teaching yoga at corporates, it was a stage… as if I am teaching in front of a crowd and rehearsing my childhood dream.

I am not what happened to me. I am what I choose to become.”– Carl Jung

It Started With Visualization

Every night, before I went to sleep, I’d close my eyes and see it happening. I’d picture myself at an indoor women’s conference, walking onto a brightly lit stage in a black dress and heels. The music would play, and I’d hear the words, “Ladies and gentlemen, let’s welcome our keynote speaker, Dimple Bindra.” The audience would clap, dance, and I’d join them—until, of course, I’d kick off those heels because comfort over style always wins.

I visualized every detail:

  • The lights, the music, the energy.
  • The sound of applause.
  • The feeling of confidence as I shared my story.

This wasn’t just daydreaming—it was intentional visualization. Science shows that the brain doesn’t distinguish between what’s real and what’s imagined. By visualizing before sleep, I was planting seeds in my subconscious mind.

The Universe Listened

A few month’s ago, I received an email that sent shivers down my spine.

“Dimple, we have a wellness workshop coming up. Would you like to be our keynote speaker this year?”

In that moment, my dream met reality. I said yes—and the budget? It was higher than anything I’d ever made in one hour. I felt like the universe was reminding me: whatever we want in life is possible.

Faith + Action = Results

Manifestation isn’t magic—it’s a partnership between you and the universe.

  1. Know what you want. Be clear. For me, it was standing on a stage as a speaker.
  2. Visualize it. See, hear, and feel it happening in vivid detail.
  3. Take intentional action. I worked on my speaking skills, practiced eliminating filler words, and kept showing up.

There’s no shortcut to success, but asking for divine guidance can accelerate the process. I believe our ancestors, angels, and universal energies help us when we call upon them. My grandmother was a healer, and my grandfather spent his days in prayer. Whenever I feel stuck, I invite their energy to guide me.

Start Living Your Dream

If you’re reading this and holding onto a dream, here’s my advice:

  • Visualize it. Don’t just think about it—see it happening.
  • Believe in it. Trust the process, even when it feels slow.
  • Call for support. Ask for help—whether from mentors, divine energies, or loved ones.

Your dreams are waiting for you. I’m proof that when you align your thoughts, actions, and beliefs, the universe responds.
